Assignment 1: Cityscape Photomontage- Brief + Inspiration

In this assignment we are supposed to go to a city of our choice and take some pictures, then edit them in a creative way.  My choice was to pick my own residential area - Subang Jaya.

But of course research was needed! I checked out some artwork from other artists to gain inspiration.

This one had an 'inception'-like feel to it, made me feel claustrophobic.

This one's conceptual and cool looking. Trying to give the message that nature dies in order to give birth to our 'cities'

 This isn't actually a photomontage, but the mist drenched over NYC gives it a mysterious aura.
